Food Myths

food-myths-itchy

The NYT Room for Debate blog asked several experts to expose food myths and share some items of interest. A few include:

- Drinking a glass of fruit juice a day, for kids or adults, is far from healthy.

- Kosher does not always equal quality (although in this blog, you get both).

- While dark green veggies are often really good for you, don’t shortchange the white ones. Celery, cabbage, cauliflower, etc, are all good.

- We eat more when we see more.

- There is nothing fancy about arugula. In some places, it grows as a weed.
