The Neti Pot is one of those health-related tools I’ve always hoped wouldn’t work. I just hate the idea of filling it up with salt water and pouring it in one nostril and out the other (like beer bonging in college, it seems impossible until you give it a shot, and then just seems like a bad idea). The neti pots have gained big time awareness thanks to its multiple appearances on Oprah.
My wife is a major fan of the neti. I’ve avoided it. Much to my nasal chagrin, it looks like the salt water flush is effective both in controlling allergies and flushing out a runny nose.
