A recent study indicates the combination of high sugar and acidity found in many sports drinks can do damage to your teeth over time (post-victory cooler dumps still considered harmless).
Sports drinks are really only harmful if you sip on them throughout the day. Just chugging one down doesn’t have many adverse effects. Ultimately, water is the only drink that doesn’t seem to do some kind of damage to the teeth. But then again, if you grind your teeth, that’s bad too. Even teeth are bad for teeth.
