We’re Fatter Because We Eat More

Today was the first day they’ve parked a taco truck outside my office door. So it wasn’t the ideal moment for me to learn that America’s weight gain since the 1970s - while having some slight connection to physical activity - is basically all about the amount of food we eat. The researchers suggest that kids are consuming about 350 extra calories a day while adults are downing about 500 calories more than they were a few decades ago.

If the taco truck follows me home, I’m doomed.
