When I think of generic drugs, I usually picture a group of a humanitarian elves in the North Pole hammering out duplications of brand drugs so me and all the other little children can get well affordably. I almost want to leave out cookies and milk when my pharmacist hands me my pills.
So it surprised me quite a bit that many of the biggest manufacturers of generic drugs are the big pharmaceutical corporations that make the name brand stuff.
This is the second time I’ve realized that there is no Santa Clause (and since I’m Jewish, this time is a lot more upsetting).
