Music for Your Heart: An Anthem a Day

Years ago, University of Maryland Medical Center’s Dr. Mike Miller discovered that laughing can be healthy for one’s heart by relaxing inner lining of the blood vessels and producing heart-healthy chemicals. Now Miller is back with another study showing that music can also be helpful to your vascular system (yet another reason to listen to Metal on Metal at least once a day).

There is one caveat though. It has to be good music. Bad music can actually have the opposite impact on your heart. So when someone bangs on your door and says that your music is friggin killing them, they may be telling the truth.
