I’m not sure, given this blog’s title, whether this comes as horrifying news or a big relief. A new study found that doctor’s often fail to notify their patients about abonormal test results.
Nice metaphor for the state of health care. The system is programmed to assess and fix. Communication is often not part of the mix, especially when it’s not being offered to directly link the assessing and the fixing. Scary.
